The Chalmers family joined me on the beach as a drizzle began, but some bright smiles and umbrellas as props did the trick to combat any rainy day blues. Soon, the droplets subsided and the setting sun mixed with the calm after the storm produced a pink, purple and blue colored sky, complete with glassy tide pools and a beach all to ourselves.
